WEBB CUSTOM CUES

Maker of pool cues from 1990 in Seattle, Washington and Hardy, Arkansas.

Billy Webb became interested in cuemaking in Houston in the early 1980s. He had purchased several of Richard Black's cues and had visited his shop on several occasions. He experiment with one of the cues and was able to see, first hand, the "full-splice" construction. What began as a hobby is now a full-time occupation. Webb relocated to Seattle, Washington in the late 1980s but currently lives in Hardy, Arkansas.

Billy's first cues were short spliced forearms for other cuemakers. Billy prefers to make six-point mitered veneered cues. He has been influenced and inspired by such cuemakers as Roger Pettit, Ted Harris, Jerry McWorter, Mike Bender, Ron Haley, Jerry Franklin, and Andy Gilbert.

Spider Web cues can be identified by the "Spider Web" logo on butts and "Webb" on joint screws. Billy does not make two-piece bar cues. He usually builds six-pointed cues with veneers or butterflies.
